FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup

The seventh edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup is set to unfold this month at the Tahua To’ata Stadium in Papeete, Tahiti.

16 teams from 6 different confederations will be competing in this prestigious event which takes place every two years.

Russia is the defending champion of the event.

The following is the schedule of the matches:
  • Opening Match – September 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
  • Semifinals – September 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
  • Final – September 29, 2013 at 2:30 pm.

UAAP Season 76

Ateneo de Manila University and University of Santo Tomas fight for the last semifinals spot in the 76th UAAP men's basketball tournament today at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

In the curtain-raiser, University of the Philippines attempt to prevent itself from falling to another 0-14 finish when the Fighting Maroons battle University of the East.

BALLS Channel will air the replays of the UAAP games today starting 9 pm.

UAAP Season 76

It will be an all-important Saturday showdown between the De La Salle University and University of Santo Tomas at the penultimate playdate of the UAAP Season 76 men’s basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.

A win for the Green Archers (9-4) will earn them a playoff for the twice-to-beat incentive against idle FEU, while a victory for the Growling Tigers (7-5) secures them a do-or-die game for the last semifinal berth, with Ateneo still in their schedule.

The game between UST and La Salle tips off at 4 pm, after the battle of also-ran teams Adamson University and University of the East at 2 pm. BALLS Channel will air same day replays of the UAAP 76 men's seniors basketball games starting 7 pm.

UAAP Season 76

League-leaders Far Eastern University and National University close out their elimination round campaigns, with each hoping to secure all-important twice-to-beat advantages in the 76th UAAP men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Tied at 9-4, the Tamaraws and the Bulldogs battle separate foes in a bid to finish the double-round eliminations atop the heap and armed with a top-two seeding. The Tamaraws face still winless University of the Philippines in the curtain-raiser.

In the main game, NU takes on five-peat champion Ateneo de Manila University in a crucial battle that could decide the fate of both teams. A win by the Bulldogs assure them of a top-two finish.

BALLS Channel will air same day replays of the UAAP 76 men's seniors basketball games starting at 9 pm.

European Tour

BALLS Channel exclusive coverage of the 2013 European Tour continues this month with the Omega European Masters and the KLM Open.

Omega European Masters

The European Tour makes its only stop in Switzerland for the year with the 2013 edition of the Omega European Masters.

Last year’s tournament saw Scotland’s Richie Ramsay win his second European Tour event.

Coverage of the 2013 Omega European Masters will run from September 11-14, 2013 at 1:00 pm on BALLS Channel.

KLM Open

After Switzerland, the next destination on the European Tour is the Netherlands as the 2013 KLM Open unfolds.
