ATP World Tour 1000 Series: Indian Wells

The first destination of the 2014 edition of the ATP World Tour 1000 series is sunny California with the annual Indian Wells Masters tournament. Roger Federer holds the record for the most titles won at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden with 4. Rafael Nadal is just one win away from tying Federer’s feat after beating Juan Martin del Potro in the Final match last year.

European Tour

March is two more events on the 2014 European Tour.

Tshwane Open

One of the newest golf tournaments on the European Tour, the Tshwane Open was founded just a year ago with the inaugural event taking place at the Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate in Centurion, South Africa. Dawie van der Walt became the first ever winner of the tournament as he beat fellow South Arfican, Darren Fichardt by 2 strokes last year.

Trophee Hassan

The city of Agadir in Morocco will once again be on the receiving end of the spotlight as golf fans all over the world take notice of the 2014 Trophee Hassan tournament. Last year, Michael Siem became the first German to ever win the event.

ATP World Tour 500 Series: Acapulco

For the past six years, the Mexican Open has been dominated by the top tennis players from Spain. Last year, Rafael Nadal ended David Ferrer’s three year streak of winning the event by beating him in the Final.
