Defending champions and hosts, Philippines are favorites to retain their title in the upcoming 2013 Philippine Peace Cup. This year’s tournament will be held in Panaad Stadium, Bacolod, Negros Occidental on October 11 to 15, 2013.
There will be three teams participating this season instead of
four.
The Azkals are joined by Chinese-Taipei and Pakistan. It will be a single
round robin format and the team with the highest points total will be
declared the winner.
BALLS Channel will air next day replays:
- Philippines vs. Chinese Taipei on October 12, Saturday at 2 pm.
- Chinese Taipei vs. Pakistan on October 14, Monday at 5 pm.
- Philippines vs. Pakistan on October 16, Wednesday at 6 pm.
The Philippine Peace Cup is preparation for the Azkals for the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup in May.
